There's a great new Los Angeles Ukulele Festival this year on Saturday, June 28th. It will take place downtown at the JACCC at 244 S. San Pedro, Los Angeles, CA 90012. This is also the home of a great new Ukulele and Coffee shop called U-Space (http://uspacela.com/index.html)
There will be attempt to break the world record for Largest Ukulele Ensemble from 10 a.m. The song played will be Daniel Ho's Pineapple Mango (http://www.danielho.com).
And Westside Ukulele Ensemble will be taking the stage at 12:30 p.m.
There will also be a film screening of Jake Shimabukuro's "Life on Four Strings" as well as workshops, concerts and more.

I didn't realize we should "buy" a free ticket for the world record event until you mentioned it Jeff, but I did today. Really looking forward to participating. I've also transferred the recordings of our rehearsals to my iPod Touch for my car so I can lock all our songs.
